A supercharged engine (1) with an EGR device, wherein the communication part (25B) of a bypass passage (25) from an air supply side and a branch part (31A) to an EGR passage (31) are formed in an exhaust manifold (12). When the exhaust gas outlet (13) of the exhaust manifold (12) is formed at the longitudinal intermediate position of the engine along an engine cylinder row, the communication part (25B) of the bypass passage (25) and the branch part (31A) of the EGR passage (31) in the exhaust manifold (12) are formed on both sides of the exhaust gas outlet (13) in the longitudinal direction separately from each other to such a degree that a part of exhaust gas is pushed back to the EGR passage (31) by air supplied from the bypass passage (25). |
