A remote-controlled aiming system is provided to aim a gun from a remote place by using a pan/tilt platform on which the gun is placed and controlled remotely. A remote-controlled aiming system comprises a gun, a pan/tilt platform with a camera and a display unit. The gun is mounted on the pan/tilt platform with the camera. The gun is controlled based on video information transmitted in a wired or a wireless manner, and aiming is conducted with the display unit.
