A rotary spray-type oil coating device for a linear article is provided to allow atomized oil particles, such as lubricant oil particles, to reach the surface of the article uniformly along the circumference of the article, and to satisfy a desired coating amount according to the driving speed of the linear article. A rotary spray-type oil coating device for a linear article that allows atomized oil particles to reach a driving linear article comprises: an oil coating chamber(300) in which the linear article is driven in the horizontal direction; at least two rotating cups(100,200) for atomizing oil, which are disposed in the oil coating chamber movably along the driving line of the linear article, atomize the oil by the rotational centrifugal force, and allow the atomized oil particles to reach the linear article; an oil coating amount controlling member(110,210) disposed between the rotating cups and the driving line for controlling the amount of the oil particles moving to the linear article from the oil particles flying from the rotating cup; an oil tank(320) for receiving the oil particles not reaching the linear article; an oil feeding pump disposed in each rotating cup for feeding the oil from the oil tank to the rotating cup through a pipe; and an oil feed controlling section for imparting an oil feed order output determined according to a predetermined driving speed of the linear article so as to satisfy a desired oil coating amount to a motor driving circuit for a pump for feeding the oil.
