A lighting device includes a conductive body 10, a concentrator 12, a coupling portion 13 and a base 11 with a raised portion 111. A light-emitting diode (LED) 30 is connected to a printed circuit board 20 and spans an opening 21 in it so that the light-emitting diode 30 is themally coupled to the raised portion 111. A head 50 is connected via wires through holes 112 to circuit board 20 and is releasable from the body. Head 50 may be attached by connectors 51 and comprise MR16 or E27 connectors. The body 10 can be a metal, and have external fins 14 for heat dissipation. The circuit board and base can be fixed by adhesive or threaded screws. |
