The safety element has free spaces of the mechanically testable layer and the metallic appearing layer are so dimensioned and arranged, that the visual detecting capability of the recesses of the first metallic layer is ensured. A transparent or translucent adhesion sticking layer or a first protecting varnish layer is provided between the first metallic layer and the mechanically testable layer. The protective varnish layer consists of a lacquer on nitrocellulose, poly vinyl chloride, polypropylene or of an interlacing lacquer. An independent claim is also included for a method for the production of a safety member for a safety paper. |
