A mortise lock and a digital lock including the same are provided to operate a dead bolt into a locking state or unlocking state manually, in operating an internal handle. A mortise lock includes a dead bolt(110) to lock or unlock a door, and an electric motor(160) to drive the dead bolt. One ends of a closer and an opener are located on both sides in the transportation direction of the dead bolt, and the other ends of the closer and the opener are connected to a housing(102) of the mortise lock. The closer and the opener transport the dead bolt to a locking or unlocking position by being rotated oppositely according to the rotation direction of an internal handle.
