A printing method for changing resolution according to a type and a size of a data object and an image forming device driver are provided to shorten a printing time by comparing a size of a text object with a size of an image object and printing an object having priority. A transmission process is performed to transmit data object information to an image forming device driver(S120). An analysis process is performed to analyze a type and a size of a data object(S200). A setup information conversion or selection process is performed to convert or select resolution setup information according to the type and the size of the data object(S220). A data generating and transferring process is performed to generate driver data and to transfer the driver data to the image forming device driver according to the conversion of the resolution setup information or a choice of a user(S240). A printing process is performed to print the driver data(S300).
