A method for international automatic transaction in an automatic teller machine and an automatic teller machine using the same are provided to provide financial transaction service related with a financial agency of a second country through a financial agency branch connection network of a first country related with a financial joint network according to financial transaction request of a user in an automatic teller machine installed in the second country. According to an automatic teller machine(300), an interface(310) receives a transaction unit for financial transaction request from a user. A discrimination unit(320) discriminates which country among a first country and a second country the inputted financial transaction unit corresponds to. When the financial transaction unit is provided from a financial agency of the second country, a data transmission unit(330) transmits command data according to the financial transaction request to the financial agency of the second country through the financial agency branch connection network of the first country related with the financial joint network of the second country.
