摘要 A method and an apparatus for manufacturing a catalyst for synthesizing carbon nanotubes are provided to mass-produce metal catalysts of several tens of nanometer sizes or less, by using a catalyst mixture solution prepared by dissolving a catalyst precursor and a carrier derivative in a solvent. A catalyst mixture solution is prepared by dissolving a catalyst precursor and a carrier derivative in a solvent within a solution generating unit(110). The catalyst mixture solution is atomized in an ultrasonic jet type. The atomized catalyst mixture solution is pyrolyzed to form a powdered carrier-catalyst coupler within a pyrolyzing unit(130). The carrier-catalyst coupler is collected by a collecting unit(140). The catalyst precursor is a metal salt containing at least one selected from a group consisting of iron, nickel, cobalt, palladium, tungsten, chrome, and iridium.
