FIELD: medicine, oral surgery. ^ SUBSTANCE: one should cut anterior edge of mandibular branch from the bottom of coronoid process up to retromolar triangle, continue the cutting along external cortical plate behind the last tooth in vertical direction by not reaching 5 mm against mandibular inferior edge, turn the cutting for the angle of 90 towards mandibular corner to continue it along posterior edge of the branch up to the bottom of condylar process, connect the cuttings of posterior and anterior edges of the branch along internal surface of cortical plate in horizontal direction being above mandibular foramen, split the mandibula in sagittal plane, move the great mandibular fragment to the front for a certain width and downwards for a certain value to cover the developed osseous defect of "L"-shaped form upon external cortical plate overlapped with perforated rectangular allotransplant. The innovation provides the greatest contact of the transplant with mandibular fragments and decreases the risk in the development of the dysfunctions of temporal-mandibular joints. ^ EFFECT: higher efficiency of alloplasty. ^ 5 dwg, 4 ex |
