FIELD: ferrous metallurgy, namely out-of-furnace treatment of metal in ladle. ^ SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes gas-lift with lined suction and draining branch pipes and with gas separation chamber having lid. In upper part of gas separation chamber hopper with gate for introducing cooling agent is arranged. Gas separation chamber widens upwards, it may be detached from branch pipes and from lid. Relation of inner cross section values of suction and draining branch pipes is in range 0.2 - 1.5. Gas separation chamber is fluid-tight one and it is provided with adjustable valve. ^ EFFECT: possibility for treating metal by means of highly reduced slag aggressive relative to refractory materials at preventing interaction of such slag with air and with ladle lining. ^ 3 cl, 1 dwg, 1 tbl, 1 ex |
