DRIVE TRAIN FOR A HEADER OF A HARVESTING MACHINE

A drive train for a header of a harvesting machine. The harvesting machi ne has a main frame on which a feeder house is mounted. On the front face of th e feeder house a mounting device is provided which is pivots with respect to t he main frame about a fore/aft extending axis. A header is releasably fixed to the mounting device. The drive train for the header comprises a header drive shaft mounte d to the mounting device driving a secondary drive shaft mounted on the header.
