An electrophoretic display device is provided to serve as a flexible display and ensure reflection light through a light source even though external light is weak or blocked by forming a flexible organic electroluminescent light source. A light source unit(140) is formed at at least one side of an electrophoretic display panel(136) and emits light to the electrophoretic display panel. A case(160) contains the electrophoretic display panel and the light source unit and has a top surface placed on the light source unit. The light source unit includes an organic electroluminescent light source having a first electrode(110) and a second electrode(150) which are formed with an organic light emitting layer between the first and second electrode having opposite polarities. The organic electroluminescent light source includes a partition wall(142) formed at at least one side of the organic light emitting layer to protect the organic light emitting layer.
