The bearing has binding bands (107, 108) made of austenitic steel, and dowel bushes (104, 105) made of martensitic steel of high Vickers hardness. The binding bands present a surface layer that is tempered by cold hardening based on prestressing shot blasting, and are treated thermally after being cold drawn. The bands or bushes are covered by a lacquer coat e.g. graphite lacquer, permitting the break-in of the contact of the blade and casing. |
