FIELD: biometry, namely, methods for recognizing and encoding imprints of papillary patterns, possible use in various areas of informational technologies. ^ SUBSTANCE: in accordance to the invention, passports of fingerprints are formed, standard fingerprint passports are compared with provided passport by comparison of minute parts. Simultaneously with generation of fingerprint passports, filtration encoding of images of fingerprints is performed, which includes repeated mathematical processing of image of papillary pattern. Gabor filter may be used during filtration of the image. ^ EFFECT: increased speed of operation when comparing and identifying imprints of papillary patterns while preserving high trustworthiness of recognition results. ^ 3 cl, 7 dwg |
