A multi-head embroidery sewing machine is provided to achieve small quantity batch production and facilitate exchange or repair of component parts, by controlling the component parts of each sewing head independently. A multi-head embroidery sewing machine includes a plurality of sewing heads(H), wherein each of the sewing heads has a plurality of sewing mechanical components including a needle bar(14), a thread take-up lever(23), and a presser foot(37). Individual motors individually drive respective mechanical components of the needle bar, the thread take-up lever, and the presser foot. A common motor drives a plurality of rotary hooks respectively installed below the sewing heads. A transfer unit transfers the rotation of the common motor to the rotary hooks of the sewing heads. |
