The invention relates to a card connector in which a body made of an integral molded product of a synthetic resin has a pair of arms extending from a head portion having multipolar contacts. A sheet metal frame is stretched between the arms of the body. The frame cooperates with the body to form a card insertion slot. The arms are prevented from being deformed inwardly by arm supporting pieces to define the lateral width of a card insertion slot. |
