A refrigerator is provided to improve coupling force between a water tank and a housing and to allow a user to recognize precise coupling between them by feeling of fitting. A refrigerator includes a water tank(110), a main body containing the water tank, and a guide element(210) mounted to the main body and guiding mounting or separation direction of the water tank. A housing(202) is mounted to the main body and receives the water tank. Either of the water tank or the guide element is formed with an interference part, such as a groove(225), for generating holding force between the water tank and the guide element, wherein the other one is formed with a hook part, such as a protrusion(215), corresponding to the interference part. The guide element has guide arms(212) in close contact with both side surfaces of a water tank guide part(220) of a water tank cover(114), and a guide plate(214) connecting the guide arms to each other. |
