A system and a method for managing outdoor signboards using RFID are provided to easily check illegal installation of the outdoor signboards by installing an RFID tag to a signboard of each building and transmitting a photograph of the outdoor signboards attached to a building at once when the RFID tag of the building is read. A management server(20) stores the photo data of the approved outdoor signboards(60) attached to the building(50) having a serial building number by linking with the serial building number. The signboard(70) of the building is installed to each building having the serial building number and is attached with the RFID tag(80) storing the serial building number. An RFID reader(40) reads the RFID tag attached to the signboard of the building. A management terminal(30) is connected to the RFID reader, transmits the serial building number read from the RFID reader to the management server, receives the photo data of the approved outdoor signboards attached to the building corresponding to the serial building number from the management server, and displays the photo data to a screen. |
