The said industrial design consists of the shape, configuration and ornamentation of the arm rest for a chair as shown in the drawings, the arm rest for a chair has a base portion with a raised area that is spaced inwards of the outer edges of the base portion and generally follows the shape and outline of the base portion; the upper surface of the arm rest is curved slightly outwards along its length; the support portion of the arm rest extends downwards and rearwards away from the base portion and has a generally flat outer surface and smooth curved front, rear and inner surfaces; the flat outer surface has a generally rectangular slot therein with curved corners, the slot being situated close to the base portion.Representations of the design are shown in the figures wherein:Fig. 1.1 is a right front perspective view of the design of the arm rest for the chair;Fig. 1.2 is a right side elevation view thereof;Fig. 1.3 is a front elevation view thereof;Fig. 1.4 is a top plan view thereof;Fig. 1.5 is a rear elevation view thereof;Fig. 1.6 is a left side elevation view thereof; andFig. 1.7 is a bottom view thereof;Diagrams of the design are included.
