A vertical placard banner hanging device is provided to maximize advertisement effect by guiding consumers to recognize the contents of the placard banner from various directions. A post(110) comprises a number of guide rails(111). A bottom body(120) is installed on the bottom of the post, and has a number of placard banner fixing holes(130) to bind the bottom of the placard banner. An elevation body(140) comprises a number of guide rollers(141) contacting with the guide rail, and moves up and down along the outer circumference of the post, and has a number of placard banner fixing holes(150) to bind the top of the placard banner. A driving member moves the elevation body up and down.
