<p>An aromatic amine derivative having a diphenylamino group whose benzene rings each have two or more substituents bonded thereto, represented by the general formula: (1) wherein each of A1 to A4 is a hydrogen atom, etc.; each of a to d is an integer of 0 to 3; each of A5 to A12 is an alkyl, etc.; and each of R1 to R10 is a hydrogen atom, etc. Further, there is provided an organic electroluminescence device having one or more organic thin-film layers including at least a luminescent layer interposed between a negative electrode and a positive electrode, wherein at least one of the organic thin-film layers contains the above aromatic amine derivative alone or as a component of mixture. As a result, there is obtained an organic electroluminescence device that has long life, exhibiting high luminous efficiency and that is capable of emitting blue light of high color purity, and obtained an aromatic amine derivative for realization of the organic electroluminescence device.</p> |
