<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image pickup device capable of making a time difference between pre-emission and a light emission variable and detecting an appropriate amount of exposure during the pre-emission. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging device is provided with: a photoelectric transducer which is arranged in a matrix shape and accumulates accumulated charges in accordance with exposure; an accumulated charge reading means for reading the accumulated by the time difference in accordance with a position of a row or a column of the photoelectric transducer; a resetting means for resetting the accumulated charges of all the photoelectric transducers at one time; and a reset timing variable means for varying timing at which the accumulated charges are reset with respect to a synchronous pulse in accordance with a time for reading the accumulated charges. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
