PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transmission and reception system, a data transmission and reception device, and a data transmission and reception method that can stably perform data transmission and reception at high speed. SOLUTION: Disclosed is the data transmission and reception method for a system having a plurality of data transmission and reception devices capable of mutually transmitting and receiving data through a network, the data transmission and reception method including a step (t1) wherein a data transmission and reception device B transmits data transmitted to the network through a transmit buffer, a step (t2) wherein another data transmission and reception device A receives data inputted through the network through a receive buffer, steps (t2 to t5) wherein when the other data transmission and reception device A receives the data normally, an ACK signal is generated and additional information is added to the ACK signal and sent out to the network, and a step (t6) wherein the data transmission and reception device B sends the data to be transmitted out to the network through the transmit buffer.
