<p>Method for providing protection and for eliminating infestations of xylophages in wooden objects, in which the wooden object is chilled for at least one hour until the operating temperature (ot) of -10°C ± 40°C (and preferably between -15°C and 20°C) is obtained, the object being kept at said operating temperature for between 16 and 24 hours, after which it is returned to ambient temperature and then treated with an anti-xylophage chemical. Said method is applicable to the restoration of furniture.</p> |
