An apparatus and a method for treating a waste-transformer containing PCB(Poly Chlorinated Biphenyl) are provided to transfer, disassemble and keep automatically the waste-transformer. A stand unit(100) holds a waste-transformer for a predetermined time. A process unit(200) is connected to the stand unit, wherein the process unit disassembles the waste-transformer into an outer box and inner components and pumps insulation oil remaining within the outer box. A dissolving unit(300) completely removes the remaining insulation oil from the box and the inner components using a solvent. A safekeeping unit(400) keeps the box and the inner components where the insulation oil is completely removed. A transferring unit(500) transfers the waste-transformer, the outer box, and the inner components. An exhaust and suction unit(600) is connected to the stand unit, the process unit, the dissolving unit, the safekeeping unit, and the transferring unit. |
