<p>A position tracking method of a passive resonance-based transponder is provided to enhance a position accuracy of the transponder by using a resonance circuit whose resonance frequency is varied according to a variable magnetic field. A position tracking system of a passive resonance-based transponder includes at least one field generator, a transponder, and a position tracker(40). The field generators are arranged to generate respective variable magnetic fields. The transponder has a resonance frequency and includes a resonance circuit having a field responsive element. The field responsive element is configured to change the resonance frequency in response to the magnetic field. The position tracker remotely senses the resonance frequency of the resonance circuit and determines a position of the transponder in response to the sensed resonance frequency.</p> |
