STEM FOR LIGHT-EMITTING ELEMENT, SEMICONDUCTOR LIGHT-EMITTING DEVICE, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stem for light-emitting elements capable of reducing manufacturing costs, and to provide a semiconductor light-emitting device and a method of manufacturing the light-emitting device. SOLUTION: The semiconductor light-emitting device comprises: a conductive heat sink 10 having a mounting surface 14 that is provided in contact with a base 30 and is sandwiched between protection walls 12; a step surface 16 provided between the mounting surface 14 and the top of the protection wall 12; a subcarrier 20 mounted onto the mounting surface 14; a semiconductor light-emitting element 22 to which the subcarrier 20 is mounted; and a wire 24 for connecting the semiconductor light-emitting element 22 to the step surface 16 electrically.
