<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water use control technique which enables making a low-cost water use plan in utilization of external facilities. <P>SOLUTION: A water use control system 122 controls use of water in a water intake facility 130 obtaining and storing raw water, a water purification plant 131 purifying raw water from the water intake facility 130, water distribution reservoirs 132a and 132b reserving purified city water and distributing it to household, and a water supply facility. The water use control system 122 includes a use cost memory unit which obtains and stores a use cost per unit water volume at each of the above facilities, a use condition memory unit which memorizes water use conditions including the connection relation between pipelines connecting the water intake facility 130, water purification plant 131, and water distribution reservoirs 132a and 132b, the water volume of the pipelines, and water levels at the water intake facility 130, water purification plant 131, and water distribution reservoirs 132a and 132b, an external information memory unit which obtains and memorizes external information, such as the volume of extra power, and a plan making unit which makes a water use plan of setting an external cost based on the external information and correcting the use cost based on the external cost to reduce the use cost to the minimum. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
