<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording device which provides, high-definition and high quality images having good ink fixing performance without beading and bleeding, and an image processing method, inks for use, an image processing control program, and recording mediums therefor. <P>SOLUTION: The inkjet recording device has an image processing means which halftone processes (dithering) input image information and selects a dot arrangement sequence in accordance with an obtained output tonal value. When using commercial/publishing printing coated papers as recording mediums, the recording device uses water-soluble highly permeating dye inks (fluorine-based surface active agent is contained) and shifts either odd number rows or even number rows of dot positions of dot data arranged in the form of a lattice by the image processing means in a main scanning direction or a subsidiary scanning direction, and arranges dot positions in a staggered arrangement. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
