PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that it takes a long time to manufacture a conventional highly stable piezoelectric oscillator using a thermostatic chamber and it is difficult to automate or standardize operations since the piezoelectric oscillator is constituted by arranging, fixing, and assembling individual electronic components, such as the thermostatic chamber, an integrated circuit element having an oscillation circuit, a thermostatic chamber control circuit, etc., inside, an electronic element, and a piezoelectric vibrator, on a plurality of substrates, and the problem that size reduction of the piezoelectric oscillator is limited since the piezoelectric oscillator comprises various electronic components as mentioned above. SOLUTION: The highly stable piezoelectric oscillator is characterized in that a flat plate type Peltier element is fixed to a main surface of a container body on the opposite side from a main surface on the side of an external substrate mount side while having a main surface of the Peltier element on a heat radiation side in contact with the main surface of the container body on the side of the external substrate mount side across a heat-conductive adhesive, and a power supply terminal of the Peltier element is electrically connected to a Peltier element control circuit in an integrated circuit element mounted in the container body.
