PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preventing local corrosion on the inside surface of a steel pipe in the manufacturing process of the steel pipe in prevention of tar-like degeneration of processing oil caused by work heat-generation in the manufacturing process of the steel pipe. SOLUTION: This invention relates to a method for preventing the local corrosion on the inside surface of the steel pipe in the manufacturing process of the steel pipe by preventing the tar-like degeneration of the working oil by taking the surface temperature of the steel pipe on the outlet side of a crank by work heating after the cold-rolling as≤150°C in the manufacturing process of the steel pipe where dipping into degreasing liquid is repeatedly performed after performing air blowing on the inside surface of the steel pipe just after cold-rolling and holding the storing inclined angle of the steel pipe at≥1°. Furthermore, in this method, the surface temperature of a product on the outlet side of the crank is made to be≤150°C by preventing temperature rise when companding the pipe by adjusting the companding speed or providing a cooling system in the upper part within a companding stand.
