PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll stand of a style which is the roll stand 1 which has at least a roll 3 which is provided on a roll shaft 2 when using the stand according to the rule, and to provide a roll stand with a mode in which at this time, this roll shaft 2 penetrates the hole part in the middle of this roll 3, at this time, this roll shaft 2 is dissociatively connected to a driving shaft 5 through a coupling device 4 in the end-part region in the axial direction and a roll changing device 6 is provided by belonging to the device to this roll stand 1. SOLUTION: The roll changing device 6 has means 7, 8 for lowering and elevating the roll 3 from the working position of the roll to the roll changing position, an extracting truck 9 for moving a connecting member 10 which is mounted on the extracting truck in the longitudinal direction of the roll shaft 2 and a connecting means 11 which is provided in the end-part region in the axial direction of this roll shaft 2 for integrally cooperating in a shape with this connecting member 10 which is provided on this extracting truck 9.
