PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for combining a battery rapidly carrying out mounting and demounting of the battery for a fishing reel. SOLUTION: The apparatus 10 for combining the battery is designed to mount and demount a feeding battery 16 in the fishing reel 14. The apparatus is equipped with a recessed groove 34 in the peripheral direction in one of a feeding part 26 for the fishing reel 14 and a connecting part 36 of the feeding battery 16. Spherical members 52 engaging and disengaging from the groove 34 in the peripheral direction are provided in the other and the engagement and disengagement of the spherical members 52 from the groove 34 in the peripheral direction are controlled through an operation member 56.
