PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent the invasion of insects which try to invade through a floor surface. SOLUTION: This device for preventing the invasion of insects is characterized by burying a trapping mechanism 11 comprising a slit portion 14 capable of sucking the insects of trapping targets and a chamber portion 15 integrally connected to the lower portion of the slit portion 14 over the whole width in the floor surface 2 of the outside and/or the inside of an entrance of a section to prevent the invasion of the pests, opening the upper portion of the slit portion as a suction port 13 in the floor surface, connecting a suction blower 12 to the chamber portion to suck air in the neighborhood of the floor surface from the suction port 13, and sucking and trapping the insects walking on the floor surface with a suction air flow 18. The suction port is preferably formed in a bell mouth shape. Water inclination is disposed in the chamber portion, and a drain pipe 20 is connected to the water lower side and further connected to a drain pit 22 through a water-sealing mechanism 21. A filter 26 for catching the trapped insects is disposed in a maintainable state from in the drain pit 22.
