A method for reducing the disconnection of audio data due to communication fault in a wireless audio system is provided to delay enough audio data and retry communication using the delayed time, thereby reducing the disconnection of audio data, minimizing transmission delay, and transmitting good quality audio in real time in case of generating communication delay. A method for reducing the disconnection of audio data due to communication fault in a wireless audio system comprises the following steps of: dividing audio data by a predetermined length and managing the divided audio information in a unit of packet; requesting an amount of transmission data and numbers of shorted audio information due to communication fault to a wireless microphone transmitting unit; and transmitting an associated audio information to the wireless microphone receiving unit in real time according to an amount of transmission data.
