摘要 A catalyst system for olefin polymerization is provided to produce olefin polymers having improved characteristics such as polymerization activity, melt flowability, stereoregularity, or apparent density. A catalyst system for olefin polymerization comprises (a) a transition metal compound containing a group 14, 15, or 16 element on the periodic table as a solid catalyst component; (b) an organometallic compound containing a group 12 or 13 element on the periodic table as a co-catalyst component; and (c) an organosilane compound represented by the following formula 1 as an external electron donor component. In the formula 1, each of R1, R2, R7, R8, R9, and R10 is independently hydrogen, a substituted or unsubstituted C1-20 alkyl or alkenyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C1-20 alkoxy group, or a substituted or unsubstituted C5-30 cycloalkyl group, and each of n and m is an integer of 1-3.
