METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PROVIDING MULTIMEDIA MESSAGING SERVICE

A method for providing an MMS(Multimedia Messaging Service) and an apparatus thereof are provided to receive and use a multimedia file to be included to a multimedia message from the other device connected to a network during the generation of the multimedia message, thereby making the multimedia message easily by freely selecting the multimedia file included in the multimedia message. A method for providing an MMS(Multimedia Messaging Service) comprises the following steps of: collecting multimedia contents information accessible through a network in response to a multimedia message making request(S102~S106); selecting a multimedia file to add to a multimedia message from the collected multimedia contents information and generating the multimedia message including the access information of the multimedia file(S108).
