PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of reducing power cost.

SOLUTION: A job scheduling part is provided with a job arrangement determining part 39 for comparing the total power cost (O) at a temporally arrangement (O) obtained by assuming that a job is executed by a self-apparatus with the total power cost (N) at a temporally arrangement (N) obtained by assuming that the job is executed by an external image forming apparatus on the basis of a standby execution list of each apparatus, power consumption information showing power consumption required for job execution of each apparatus and power cost basic information to implement a job execution plan on the basis of a temporary arrangement corresponding to the minimum total power cost for the need of newly arranging the job in an unplanned time period being a unit time period with a job unarranged, and a job entrustment processing part 41 for outputting to the external image forming apparatus an entrustment instruction including basic image information to be a target of a job to be executed by the external image forming apparatus and entrustment source information showing the apparatus ID of the own-apparatus when the temporary arrangement (N) is selected.
