PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a system capable of integrally controlling functions kept by a compound machine and flexibly changing functions provided by the compound machine.

SOLUTION: The compound machine 1 has a computer including a CPU 101 and RAM 106, and is controlled by communicably connecting with one or more of control devices 2. The compound machine 1 comprises a memory section 105 for storing a program for the complex machine which is the program to be executed by the CPU 101, a program registration management application 18h for storing the program for the compound machine received from the control device 2 in the memory section 105, and a job manager 17b for making the CPU 101 execute the program for the complex machine stored in the memory section 105.
