<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a player provided with a content from a plurality of servers to accurately and easily decide the same content. <P>SOLUTION: The player sets a search condition (300). Content information satisfying the condition is transmitted from each the server, and the information is acquired. When the same content is absent, display is performed in a display processing/output part as it is (S308). When the same content is present, seek information is transmitted to each the content (S304). The server transmits content data to each seek request, and the player receives the content data to the requested seek (S305). All the content data are compared, and it is decided whether the data are identical or not (S306). The data not identical are displayed as they are (S308).
