<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output a printing command to a printing equipment suitable to desired printing quality among a plurality of printing equipments connected to a network. <P>SOLUTION: A scanner 20 constituting a network system 10 displays such a printer selection screen that a user can select one of a plurality of color laser printers 30 connected to the network 40, as a printing executing printer for performing printing. Herein, the scanner 20 sets the color laser printer 30 that toner quality information corresponding to preset printing quality is stored in an IC memory 35, as an appropriate printer, and controls information regarding the appropriate printer to be displayed on the printer selection screen prior to information regarding the other color laser printers 30 other than the appropriate printer. Thus, the printing command can be output to the printer suitable to the desired printing quality out of the plurality of color laser printers 30 connected to the network 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
