PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device having a structure for relaxing energy barrier occurring on the interface in an organic compound layer having a laminate structure.

SOLUTION: An energy barrier occurring between an organic compound layer (1) (102) and an organic compound layer (2) (103) is relaxed by forming a mixture layer (105). The mixture layer comprises a material composing the organic compound layer (1) (102), and a material composing the organic compound layer (2) (103), on the interface of the organic compound layer (1) (102) and the organic compound layer (2) (103).
