PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display an image which is easy for a viewer to see while reducing problems of copyright when a broadcast image of a television broadcast and an information image other than the broadcast image are displayed on a monitor screen simultaneously. SOLUTION: A broadcast receiving device 1 generates a composite image 18 such that a frame image 20 simulating a frame of a display screen 12a of a monitor device 12 is disposed occupying a portion of a physical screen (display screen 12a) and the broadcast image 26 corresponding to the television broadcast received by a tuner 3 is disposed inside the frame image 20. Further, the broadcast receiving device 1 generates a composite image such that information images 22 and 23 other than the broadcast image 26 which are acquired, for example, on the Internet are disposed outside the frame image 20.
