The accumulator (1) has a refrigerant inlet (2) providing a housing, where gaseous refrigerant is reached into the accumulator via the inlet. A pipe is connected with a refrigerant outlet (5). The pipe has a refrigerant-inlet-sided end (3`) by which the refrigerant is reached into the pipe, where the end is arranged in an increased area. The increased area engages a surface, which is clearly smaller than the increased area of a surrounding surface, where the increased area is provided in a cover (4) or an intermediate bottom of the accumulator.
