An LED module for a back light unit and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to improve the efficiency of heat radiation by directly radiating heat generated at a substrate through a base layer, thereby improving the life span of an LED lamp. A substrate(20) is electrically connected with an LED(Light Emitting Diode) lamp(10), having a circuit pattern(22) for driving the LED lamp. An insulating material(30) has an upper side joined to the substrate. A metal base layer(40) is joined to a lower side of the insulating material. Installation holes(21,31) are perforated through the substrate and the insulating material to install the LED lamp to join directly to the base layer when the LED lamp is lighted. |
