<p>A method for a merchant to offer digital content online and receive payment from consumers thereof where the merchant has established at least one online account to receive payments and has associated same with a merchant user device, the method including the steps of the merchant providing digital content for offer to consumers online; an online micro-payment facility receiving a consumer request to purchase digital content and upon verifying receipt of valid payment, the facility transferring the payment, or portion thereof, to the merchant's online account; and the merchant retrieving said payment upon presentation of the merchant user device to a facility operably connected to the online account.</p> |
