An arm rotating type loading and unloading system of a hot press is provided to decrease an operation noise and vibration by reducing an impact, which is generated when components collide with each other. An object to be formed or a formed object is mounted on a carrier plate(2). A carrier plate lifting unit(10) includes a rotatable lifting plate which lifts up or down both side rims of the carrier plate using an axially rotating arm to or from a heating plate inside the press. A carrier plate forward/backward moving unit(20) moves the carrier plate lifting unit, so that the carrier plate is introduced into or extracted from the press. A carrier plate reciprocal transfer unit(30) reciprocally moves the carrier plate forward/backward moving unit, so that the formed object is reciprocally moved between a loading station and an external introduction standby position of the press along an introduction line.
