<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable displacement compressor capable of preventing corner contact of a pin and an object coming into slide-contact with it constituting a connection mechanism between a cam body and a rotary supporting body and reducing facial pressure between an end part of the pin and the object coming into slide-contact with it. <P>SOLUTION: The pin 22 is supported on a supporting arm 21 formed on a swash plate 20. A guide part 25 to be guided is integrally formed in one end part of the pin 22, and a guide part 26 to be guided is integrally formed in the other end part of the pin 22. The guide part 25 to be guided has a peripheral face 251 to be guided, a conical surface 252 being continuous with the peripheral face 251 to be guided, and an end face 253 being continuous with the conical surface 252. The peripheral face 251 to be guided is a convex curved face projecting toward an outer side of the guide part 25 to be guided. The guide part 26 to be guided has a peripheral face 261 to be guided, a conical surface 262 being continuous with the peripheral face 261 to be guided, and an end face 263 being continuous with the conical surface 262.
