PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact switching device in which a position of a contact face of a conductive fluid and an insulating fluid in a fluid housing room can be set at a prescribed position at non-action of an actuator. SOLUTION: The contact switching device 1 is formed by using a semiconductor board 3 and an insulating board 5, and provided with a body part 2 in which the conductive fluid L1 and the insulating fluid L2 which cannot be mixed with the conductive fluid L1 are housed, and which has a fluid housing room 2c in which a pair of contacts 6a, 6a are exposedly installed, and the actuator 7 which moves the conductive fluid L1 by partly deforming the body part 2 and switches a conductive state between the pair of the contacts 6a, 6a, and a sub-housing room 2e in order to set a position of the contact face P1 of the conductive fluid L1 and the insulating fluid L2 in the fluid housing room 2d in non-operation time of the actuator 7 is installed at the body part 2.
